The Assault Industries Barrel style Ultra Heavy Duty (UHD) tie rods for Polaris General; 900S; 1000S (60" wide) are made from one of the hardest forms of aluminum alloy available. Using the stronger 7075 material allows us to make a thinner, lighter weight tie rod.
The rods are CNC machined and anodized black, then laser engraved. The kit comes complete with everything needed for installation. Assault Industries heavy duty tie rods are a direct bolt-on OEM replacement and do not require any modification to install. Don't get stranded out in the middle of nowhere! Standard Length Tie RodsStandard length rods work with the OE suspension and offering substantial strength over the factory set up! The smaller diameter 7000 series aluminum is lighter but also should not make contact with suspension components such as A-Arms and Sway Bar links at the extremes of suspension travel and articulation. The inner Ball joints helps maintain OE suspension geometry characteristics to limit bump steer.
Long Travel +5" Tie RodsThe long travel tie rods are designed to be used to compliment HCR Long Travel kit for General/900S/1000S and serves as an alternative to using the extension supplied with the HCR long travel kit. The smaller diameter 7000 series aluminum is lighter but also should not make contact with suspension components such as A-Arms and Sway Bar links at the extremes of suspension travel and articulation. The inner Ball joints helps maintain OE suspension geometry characteristics to limit bump steer.
