- EVP MG1 ECU UNLOCK DISCLAIMER: 2024+ Polaris Xpedition models have the MG1 ECU, which requires removing and sending your ECU to EVP's Wisconsin facility for the MG1 Security Unlock. Upon receiving your ECU at our facility, EVP engineers will perform the CodeShooter Flash to install your chosen Tune Package software, as well as perform a CAN unlock. The CAN unlock will allow all future tune updates and/or upgrades to be performed via EVP CodeShooter tuning devices. This CAN unlock can only be performed at EVP's Wisconsin facility. The standard performance (Without) CAN unlock can be performed at select EVP dealers. Please fill out the ECU SUBMISSION FORM and submit it with your physical ECU. ECU’s will not be accepted without this form. Please fill out, print and ship it with your ECU to: 2018 State Hwy 35, Somerset, WI 54025. Typical turnaround time for flashing is 24-48 hours (this does not include transit time). Please note UPS does not guarantee overnight or expedited shipping methods.
